Journeys into
the wild.
Work that stays
with you.
Guided backcountry canoe expeditions rooted in challenge, presence, and connection to the living land.
These are not vacations — they are adventures that ask something of you, and give much more back.
When we step into wild places, the land begins to work on us.
The pace slows. The noise fades. What matters becomes clear.
My trips are designed as intentional journeys — blending physical movement, focused awareness, honest conversation, and simple ritual.
You don’t need to be “spiritual.” You just need to be willing to show up, pay attention, and meet yourself where you are.
If something within you recognises the potential, you'll likely know which path to take next:

Open Trips
Pre-planned journeys open to anyone who feels the call.
For those who feel called to step into the wild alongside others, open trips follow a clear arc and theme bringing together small groups ready for challenge, connection, and growth.
Each journey is thoughtfully designed — shaped by the land, the season, and the purpose of the trip.
Ideal for:
-
People seeking meaningful adventure
-
Men ready for depth and brotherhood
-
Fathers and children ready to deepen their relationships
-
Leaders and visionaries craving renewed perspective & creativity
-
Anyone ready to reconnect and remember what matters
You join a shared container — with a defined route, intention, and rhythm — and discover what unfolds when you meet the land and each other fully.

Private & Corporate Trips
Custom journeys shaped around your goals.
For individuals, organizations, and groups seeking a more tailored and immersive experience, private expeditions offer true flexibility, depth, and the space to focus on what matters most. To you.
These adventures are co-created — shaped by your intentions, your people, and what the land invites. Each experience is designed to meet you where you are and stretch you where it counts.
Ideal for:
-
Executive and leadership groups
-
Men’s and women’s circles
-
Couples and families
-
Teams
-
Organizations navigating change
-
And more
In partnership we design the length, route, level of challenge, and themes of the journey — crafting an experience that supports adventure, reflection, connection, and time well spent together in the wild.

Why Canoe Trip?
Why go into the wilderness at all?
Because wild places still call us home.
Out here, the distractions drop away.
Out here, we are free to wonder and notice.
There’s no performance, no constant input, no room to hide behind roles or routines. We are laid bare and cracked open.
The land has a way of stripping things back to what’s real — effort, attention, relationship, and choice.
These trips aren’t about escape or adrenaline.
They’re about remembering how to move, listen, and live in right relationship — with the land, with others, and with yourself.
They're about finding something we've lost or forgotten. Maybe that's purpose, inspiration, confidence, connection, peace, or joy.
Whether you come alone, with a group, or as part of a team, the wilderness becomes the teacher.
My role is to guide the journey, hold the container, and help you meet what’s already there.

What To Expect
Steady leadership. Honest challenge. Real support.
Plans are intentional, but flexible — shaped by weather, energy, and what the moment asks of us.
There will be challenge. Sometimes physical. Sometimes relational. Sometimes internal. You’ll be invited to meet your edges — not to perform, not to prove — but to grow.
And you won’t be doing it alone. You’ll be supported with practical skills, thoughtful facilitation, exceptional food, and a culture of respect.
Whether you come for adventure, connection, or deeper inner work, you’ll leave having experienced something real.
Every trip is different, but there are a few things you can count on:
-
Thoughtfully designed routes that balance challenge, beauty, and safety
-
Excellent, nourishing food sourced with care — because how we eat matters
-
Time on the water and in camp to settle the nervous system and reconnect with your body
-
Guided practices and conversations that support introspection, reflection, clarity, and integration
-
A grounded, respectful group culture — no bravado, no forced vulnerability
This is not a retreat where you’re told what to feel or who to become.
And it’s not a survival exercise meant to break you down.
This is an invitation into presence, challenge, responsibility, and relationship — with yourself, with others, and with the living world around you.
Some people leave with answers.
Most leave with better questions, a steadier center, and a deeper sense of what matters.
