About the event

Join me for this therapeutic practice that promotes relaxation and whole-being restoration by guiding participants through a series of sensory-oriented invitations. These invitations help establish a deep connection and present-moment relationship with Nature.

Research backed physical benefits of Forest Therapy include but are not limited to:

  • Boosted immune system function
  • Reduced blood pressure
  • Increased heart rate variability
  • Faster recovery from illness, surgery, trauma
  • Mood stabilisation
  • Nervous system regulation

A Forest Therapy walk with Brett is:

  • 2-3 hours long
  • Made up of a series of invitations, typically following the Global Institute of Forest Therapy (GIFT) standard flow model
  • Focused on pleasurable sensory experiences as gateways into relaxation of the body, regulation of the nervous system, and the deepening of connection with Nature and Self
  • A balance of group and personal time. The group or community aspect primarily consists of sharing circles that support the deepening and integration of the experience

This event is being offered through Treetop Trekking. Registration through treetoptrekking.com (click BOOK NOW in top right corner) or by calling 289-286-1016 is required. Your day-use entry fee to Binbrook Conservation Area is covered in the activity price of $60 per person +tax.
